Frozen, fast, and honest about the cost.
We ship from the ranch in Mount Pleasant, Texas, vacuum-sealed, flash-frozen, and packed with dry ice in an insulated box. Close to home it is cheap and quick; across the country it costs real money, and we charge what it costs.

The $99 minimum in the coastal zone keeps a single pound from making a 1,500-mile trip alone.
When we ship
- Every order ships Monday–Wednesday only (zone C Monday–Tuesday).
- Orders placed by Sunday 11:59 pm CT ship Monday; by Monday noon ship Tuesday; by Tuesday noon ship Wednesday (zones A only).
- Later orders ship the following Monday.
- Nothing ships Thursday or Friday, so no box sits in a warehouse over a weekend.
- June–August, coastal-zone orders ship Monday only so no box spends a hot weekend in transit.
When it arrives
Your beef should arrive frozen, or at least refrigerator-cold (below 40°F) with ice crystals still visible. Move it straight to the freezer; thaw in the fridge 24–48 hours before cooking. Dry ice may be gone on arrival — that is normal. Never touch dry ice with bare hands and never put it in a sealed container.
If something is wrong
If your box arrives above 40°F, do not eat it. Email hello@mountpleasantbeef.com within 48 hours with a photo and we will replace it or refund it. Family-owned means we answer for every box.
